This was an honest mistake which is quite common in the nursery trade as Agastache rugosa is often confused with Agastache foeniculum and both are often confused with the rarer, Agastache scrophulariifolia (Purple Giant Hyssop). Furthermore, there are many hyssop cultivars that are hybrids between Agastache rugosa and Agastache foeniculum and Agastache scrophulariifolia.
We DO NOW have access to a local Dakota county eco-type seed source of Agastache scrophulariifolia (Purple Giant Hyssop) and plan to add it to our catalogue next year. If you would like to receive a free 2" PLUG of this next year, we can add you to a list please include that inquiry in your email.
