My Plant Family an Art-making Activity
Designed by Preston Drum and his sons; Elvis and Leroy, this activity combines botany and imagination using Native Plants from Minnesota as inspiration. Make rubbings of plant parts collected by the Drum family and then cut-up those rubbings to make a collage of your own “Plant Family”.
Curated by kids, for kids, this Free First Saturday is all about our favorite things we can’t wait to share with the world! Join us for this family-friendly event where kids take center stage.
Free First Saturday features free gallery admission on the first Saturday of every month. Gallery admission tickets are available online in advance and on-site on the event day from the Main Lobby desk. Free admission, 10 am to 5 pm; activities, 10 am to 3 pm.
